Free Countdown Timer for Every Festival in the World
I built this countdown timer to be the most complete festival and event countdown tool available online. After testing more than 10 competitor websites, I found that most of them only included Western holidays like Christmas and New Year. They completely ignored the billion Muslims counting down to Eid, the hundreds of millions of Hindus waiting for Diwali, the people across East Asia excited for Chinese New Year, or the communities around the world celebrating Holi, Vesak, Nowruz, Songkran, and dozens of other important dates.
This timer fixes that. It includes over 50 major festivals organized by category so anyone from any country or religion can find their celebration instantly. Everything is 100% free with no signup, no ads blocking the countdown, and no premium features locked away.
Islamic Festivals Included
Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha, Ramadan, Mawlid al-Nabi, Laylat al-Qadr, and Islamic New Year are all included with their approximate 2026 and 2027 dates. These festivals are used by over 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide across Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Nigeria, and dozens of other countries.
Hindu Festivals Included
Diwali, Holi, Navratri, Dussehra, Ganesh Chaturthi, Rath Yatra, Onam, Pongal, Baisakhi, and Raksha Bandhan are all included. These festivals bring together over 1.2 billion Hindus primarily in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Fiji, and large diaspora communities worldwide.
Christian and Western Holidays
Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, New Year, Halloween, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day, Father's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Mardi Gras are all included. These holidays are celebrated by communities across North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia, and Africa.

Chinese New Year, Songkran (Thai New Year), Vesak (Buddha's birthday), Onam (Kerala harvest festival), Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Lantern Festival, Chuseok (Korean harvest), and Nowruz (Persian New Year) are all included. These festivals connect hundreds of millions of people across China, Southeast Asia, Korea, Iran, and their diaspora communities worldwide.
